All requests regarding your personal data can be sent to hey@jeyson.tech.

We collect only the data needed for the purposes described:

• Contact form: name, email address and the message you choose to send.
• User account (via Clerk): email address, name and account identifier, when you register to comment or react on the blog.
• Technical data and strictly necessary cookies for the site to work (see the Cookies section).

We do not request sensitive data. Please do not include sensitive information in contact-form messages.

We process your personal data to:

• Respond to your inquiries, messages and contact requests.
• Create and manage your account and enable blog interactions (comments, reactions).
• Operate, maintain and secure the site.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

Processing is based on your prior, express and informed authorization. By submitting the contact form or registering an account, you accept the processing of your data under this policy. You may revoke your authorization at any time by writing to hey@jeyson.tech, unless a legal or contractual duty requires us to retain the data.

Under Law 1581 of 2012, as a data subject you have the right to:

• Know, update and rectify your personal data.
• Request proof of the authorization granted for its processing.
• Be informed, upon request, about how your data has been used.
• File complaints with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (SIC) for legal violations.
• Revoke your authorization and/or request deletion of your data where applicable.
• Access your personal data free of charge.

To exercise any of these rights, send your request to hey@jeyson.tech stating your name, the right you wish to exercise and the details of your request.

Inquiries are answered within a maximum of ten (10) business days, extendable by up to five (5) more. Claims are answered within a maximum of fifteen (15) business days, extendable by up to eight (8) more, in accordance with Law 1581 of 2012.

You may also file a complaint with the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce (www.sic.gov.co).

To run the site we rely on providers that act as data processors and handle data following our instructions:

• Clerk — authentication and user account management.
• Amazon S3-compatible storage — media hosting.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Hosting/server provider — site hosting.

Some of these providers may process data outside Colombia. In those cases we seek to ensure adequate protection measures are in place.

This site uses a minimal number of cookies, all necessary or functional:

• NEXT_LOCALE — functional: remembers your language preference (Spanish or English).
• Clerk session cookies — necessary: keep you signed in and secure authentication.

We do not use analytics or marketing cookies, and we do not track your activity across other websites. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features may stop working correctly.

We keep your personal data for as long as it is needed for the purposes described or as long as a legal obligation requires. The database remains active while the site and the relationship with data subjects are maintained. When no longer needed, data is securely deleted.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, loss or disclosure. No system is completely foolproof, but we work to maintain an appropriate level of protection.

This site is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us to delete it.

For California residents we disclose the following:

• Categories of information collected: identification and contact data (name, email) and the content you voluntarily submit.
• Third parties with whom it is shared: only the processors described in section 7; we do not sell personal information.
• “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals: because we do not track users across third-party sites, we do not respond differently to browser DNT signals.
• Third-party tracking: we do not allow third parties to collect personal information about your activity through our site.
• Material changes: we will notify them by posting the updated policy on this page with a new effective date.

CCPA/CPRA does not apply to this site because it does not meet their revenue or data-volume thresholds.

This site is directed at users in Colombia and the United States and is not specifically offered to European Union residents. Even so, we apply the same transparency principles described in this policy.

We may update this policy to reflect legal or site changes. We will post the current version on this page with the update date. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
